Key Person Program. The Key Person Program (KPP) is a major part of the legislative education and outreach arm of the Full Practice Authority Committee. The members of the KPP work to build a relationship with and educate their Ohio Representative or Senator about APRN practice and the benefits of Full Practice Authority to patients and the budget. You will not be thrown to the wolves! The Communications and Full Practice committees have developed material to educate you prior to your visit and material to leave with the legislators. Additionally, the chairs of the KPP will assist and guide each member as needed. To volunteer, complete the volunteer application. If you are not sure of your legislator’s name, visit http://www.legislature.state.oh.us/ and enter your zip + 4 to determine your district and the names of your Representative and Senator.
